First, seek professional help if you are experiencing symptoms, such as,  changes in mood, lifestyle, socialization, feelings of sadness or anxiety, panic, isolation, racing thoughts, issues focusing, sleeping or eating more or less than usual, feeling worthless, guilty, crying more, feelings of deep sadness.  Contact 911 if you feel you are having an emergency due to feelings associated with the above mentioned symptoms (or other concerning factors) OR you have ideas or feelings of harming yourself or someone else.

Some useful suggestions for coping with the stress and anxiety include:

Make time for yourself. Take a long hot bath without interruption, meet a friend for lunch, maintain proper self-care through taking care of YOUR OWN needs
.
